About Us

Heather has more than 25 years of banking and credit union experience. She most recently held the role of Chief Operations Officer at Community First Credit Union (5.1 Billion) in Appleton, WI where she had oversight of Operations, Payments, Optical Imaging/Quality Review, Branch Operations & the Member Contact Center.

Heather spent the majority of her career working at Alliant CU in Chicago ($19.0 Billion), where she most recently was the Vice-President-Operations, Deposits and Payment Strategy. In that role Heather led a division of more than 40 associates responsible for all operational functions at Alliant including the Project Management Office, Visa debit/credit card portfolio, ATMs, Member payment operations, Account Services, Special Services, Imaging, Fraud, Payments, and Deposit Product Management. 

Throughout her career, Heather has provided leadership and strategic direction for several credit union functions, including consumer lending, business process improvement, member engagement, member contact center, branch, project and program management, and operations support.

Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from DePaul University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Benedictine University. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified Gallup Strength Coach.  Heather is also the past Chair of the CUNA Councils Executive Committee, the past chair of the CUNA Operations and Member Experience Council, and was on the engagefi Advisory Board. She is the recipient of the prestigious CU Times Trailblazer Award.
